This build was a case mod/build to show the true potential of the new Nanoxia Project S Drawer Case and was sponsored by Nanoxia. I started with selecting hardware to match Nanoxias black and green theme, I ended up with:
Pentium G4400 Overclocked with copper IHS From RockItCool
Biostar C7Z170-OCE Motherboard
Corsair CX750M PSU With Fully Custom OEM Replacement Cables
2x8Gb (16Gb) Hyper X Savage DDR4
Custom Nanoxia Themed Nvidia GeForce GTX 260
Nanoxia CoolForce Cable Combs, Rigid LED Bars, NNV Fans, and Beta LED Hardline Fittings
ModMyMods also supplied all the other watercooling components from AlphaCool and Barrow
I then decided to paint abstract green, black, and silver lines around the case and remove the small stock Nanoxia logo for a bigger green logo across the entire front of the case. Once all the hardware was in from my sponsors ModMyMods, Nanoxia, RockitCool, and personally purchased hardware. It was time to fab a vertical mount GPU (I ended up fabing the Cooler Master's vertical GPU mount to work with our new case.) For the GPU I went cheap and for show with a old stock Nvidia GPU with a plain cooler I could design to match the build.
I wanted to fab a PSU/Radiator shroud with pass through fittings to the radiator. I started with some bare sheet metal with a couple of simple bends on the brake press. From there it was painted gloss black to match the case and wrapped in a green honeycomb vinyl to add to the abstract look.
Before everything went together we went ahead and delid our Intel CPU with a kit from RockitCool and replaced the stock IHS with a full copper direct replacement from RockitCool for higher over clocking out of our budget Pentium CPU.
Once everything was ready to be assembled I measured and custom made my cables with products from UPC, Mainframe Customs, and Nanoxia sponsored their CF cable combs.
The last step was water cooling. I wanted to go with a hidden radiator setup covered by my custom power supply shroud. I used Alphacools new Eisbaer Pump, Reservoir and CPU block combo. Alphacool hardline tubing sponsored by ModMyMods. Nanoxia sponsored their beta test led hard line fittings and matching Nanoxia NNV Fans with metal covers. Then I had a spare radiator to fit perfectly under the PSU shroud, with help from ModMyMods and Barrow i made a very clean hidden radiator and drain setup.
I'm very happy with how this build turned out and very thankful for all the sponsors that helped on it. Keep following me on Instagram/Facebook at BrennansPCTech and www.BrennansPCTech.com To see what I build next.
